The hashtag #Defaidodon is a social media hashtag community on the Fediverse. It is used to celebrate and share “woolly good posts full of shear joy” featuring adorable pictures of sheep.
It derives from “defaid” (Welsh for “sheep”) and “Mastodon”. It is often paired with #LambSpam and #SheepOfMastodon. it is a close cousin of #MähMittwoch.
Defaidodon was first used on November 7, 2022, and is celebrated every year on #DefaidodonDay #DyddDefaidodon.
